Product Description Of Monstera Adansonii 'Mint'

Monstera Adansonii Mint

Common Name: Mint Swiss Cheese Plant
Botanical Name: Monstera adansonii 'Mint'
Origin: Native species originates from the tropical regions of Central and South America; Mint is a cultivated variegated form.

Add a rare and eye-catching plant to your collection with the beautiful Monstera Adansonii Mint. Highly sought after for its unique variegation, this special variety features delicate mint-green and creamy green patterns across its foliage.

Like the classic Monstera adansonii, it produces distinctive heart-shaped leaves with natural oval-shaped fenestrations, giving it the familiar Swiss cheese appearance. Each leaf develops its own unique blend of green shades, making every plant one of a kind.

With its climbing or trailing growth habit, Monstera Adansonii Mint looks stunning in a hanging planter, on a shelf or trained up a moss pole. A must-have for collectors who love unusual foliage and beautifully variegated plants.

🌱 Care Guide

☀️ Light
Provide bright, indirect light to help maintain healthy growth and support its mint variegation. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

💧 Water
Water when the top 2–3 cm of the potting mix begins to dry. Avoid allowing the plant to sit in excess water.

💦 Humidity
Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally around 60% or above, to encourage healthy leaf development.

🌡️ Temperature
Keep in a warm environment between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

🪴 Soil
Use a chunky, airy and well-draining aroid mix containing orchid bark, perlite, coco coir and a suitable potting base.

🌿 Fertiliser
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength during the active growing season. Reduce feeding during cooler months.

🐾 Pet Friendly
Not pet friendly. Monstera plants contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals and can be toxic if chewed or ingested by pets.
