Epipremnum Snow Queen

Common Name: Snow Queen Pothos
Botanical Name: Epipremnum aureum 'Snow Queen'
Origin: The parent species originates from the tropical forests of French Polynesia, with cultivated variegated forms developed through horticulture.

Bring a touch of elegance to your indoor jungle with the beautiful Epipremnum Snow Queen. This stunning variegated climbing plant is admired for its heart-shaped leaves featuring an eye-catching mix of creamy white and soft green patterns.

Its predominantly white foliage creates a beautiful contrast against the green variegation, making it a standout addition to any plant collection. Each leaf develops its own unique pattern, giving the plant a distinctive appearance.

With its trailing and climbing growth habit, Snow Queen looks gorgeous cascading from hanging planters, displayed on shelves or trained up a moss pole. A lovely choice for plant enthusiasts who appreciate bright, variegated foliage.

🌱 Care Guide

☀️ Light
Provide bright, indirect light to help maintain its beautiful white variegation. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

💧 Water
Water when the top 2–3 cm of the potting mix begins to dry. Avoid overwatering and ensure the pot has good drainage.

💦 Humidity
Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well to typical indoor conditions. Higher humidity can encourage healthy foliage.

🌡️ Temperature
Keep in a warm environment between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

🪴 Soil
Use a well-draining, airy potting mix. A combination of quality potting mix, orchid bark and perlite works well.

🌿 Fertiliser
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength during the active growing season. Reduce feeding during cooler months.

🐾 Pet Friendly
Not pet friendly. Epipremnum plants contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals and can be toxic if chewed or ingested by pets.
