Botanical Name: Crassula setulosa
Common Name: Crassula setulosa, Miniature Crassula
Origin: Native to South Africa

🌟 Description:
Crassula setulosa is a charming miniature succulent known for its dense, mat-forming growth and vibrant green leaves covered with tiny white bristles or “setae.” These fine hairs give the plant a soft, fuzzy appearance and help reflect sunlight in its native habitat.

The plant forms low clusters of compact rosettes, making it ideal for ground cover in rock gardens, tiny pots, or fairy gardens. In spring or early summer, it produces delicate clusters of star-shaped white or pale pink flowers that rise slightly above the foliage.

Its petite size and texture make it a favourite among collectors and lovers of tiny, detailed plants.

🌱 Care Tips:

Light:
Loves bright, indirect light or partial sun. A few hours of morning light helps maintain its compact shape. Avoid strong afternoon sun which can scorch it.

Water:
Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. Like most Crassulas, it prefers to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in cooler months.

Humidity:
Prefers low humidity. No misting required. Good air circulation helps prevent rot.

Temperature:
Thrives in 18°C to 26°C (65°F–79°F). Protect from frost and extreme heat.

Soil:
Use a gritty, well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Add extra perlite or pumice for improved drainage.

Fertiliser:
Feed once a month during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertiliser. Avoid feeding in winter.

Pet Friendly:
Caution: May be toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
