It is very frustrating when you love the look of a plant at a plant store and once you bring it home it gets brown edges. So I found a simple solution to avoid the brown edges.
- Do not use direct tap water to water Calatheas as they contain chemicals that are not good for them and lead to causing brown edges.
- Instead, fill up a glass of water 💦 and leave it without a lid for about 20-24 hours. Use that water to water your Calatheas.
- Calatheas do not like too much water. They can tolerate less water but can’t tolerate excessive water. Water them only when the entire soil is dry.
Just by doing the above I have seen a huge difference in my Calatheas and now they are my favourite plants😻
