Join us for a terrarium workshop in Sydney where you'll gain the knowledge and skills to create your own stunning mini ecoystem.
This hands-on class begins with an introduction to the fundamental principles of terrarium making, including the essential layers needed for a healthy and thriving ecosystem. You’ll learn how to choose the right plants based on size, growth habits and their compatibility with different environments.
We’ll delve into the distinctions between closed and open terrariums, discussing how each type affects the microclimate within your miniature garden. You’ll also become familiar with the various tools required for terrarium building and maintenance, ensuring you have everything you need to continue your terrarium journey at home.
During the workshop, you’ll have the freedom to select from a variety of plants and decorative ornaments to personalise your terrarium. Whether you prefer a lush, green sanctuary or a minimalistic, modern design, you’ll have the opportunity to express your creativity fully.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home not only a beautiful, custom-made terrarium but also the confidence and inspiration to create more in the future.
This is a perfect opportunity for both beginners and plant enthusiasts to learn, create and enjoy the art of terrarium making.
In this workshop, you’ll receive everything you need to create a beautiful terrarium, including a glass vase, a selection of 2-3 small plants (depending on the size of your terrarium), ornaments to personalise your creation and all the necessary materials like soil, rocks, sand, and sphagnum moss. By the end of the session, you’ll have a completed mini garden to take home and enjoy.
This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea, team building activity or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).
Adult accompaniment is not required.
